Scott Leiber

Scott Leiber, President, Treasurer and Co-Founder

Scott Leiber’s domestic and international professional business background spans 30 years in the field of financial services. As a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, Scott advised in the management of the investment portfolios of individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Scott also focuses his practice on the Nonprofit / Philanthropic Sector. The emphasis on fine-tuning a responsible Investment Policy Statement by a nonprofit, the need to bolster the fiduciary responsibilities of the nonprofit, and, accordingly, the need to follow through with a responsible investment portfolio, encompassing the Investment Policy Statement of the nonprofit, in part, describes the financial management guidance skill set Scott provides.

For Scott, as co-founder of Judith’s Reading Room, the motivation to create this particular charity and perpetuate its mission as a member of its Board of Directors, stems from the fact that regardless of the technological advances made, children and adults, more than ever, must continue to embrace and appreciate the gift of reading to advance the standards of society worldwide.

Erin D'Amelio

Erin D’Amelio

Erin D’Amelio graduated from Lafayette College with a summa cum laude dual-degree in English and French. A resident of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania, she has always found her nose in a book since a young age. It is this passion for reading that has inspired her to spread the power of literacy and the love of literature. In 2014, Erin fulfilled a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Scholarship in Malaysia, where she taught English to secondary school students for ten months, and in 2015 taught English in France under a TAPIF grant. She is now attending the University of Pennsylvania to pursue a masters degree in International Education Development.

Judith’s Reading Room’s mission resonates with me, and serving on the board allows me to contribute, in little ways and in large ways, to spreading freedom through literacy.

Daniel Leiber

Daniel Lieber

Daniel created, with the farmers market manager, The Growing Gourmet Series at The Steel Stacks Farmers Market, where Daniel paired up with a Penn State Master Gardener to give educational talks on growing and cooking your own food. Accompanied with a cooking demo. His past culinary and wine work experience spans Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Florida. Currently on Daniel’s farm, he has 14 hens, one rooster, 8 head of sheep, an acre of pasture, and vegetable plots. Daniel also practices Reiki (hands on healing), which positively charges my plants, animals, and my food.

Why I love being on the board of JRR is because of the smiles! When we donate a library to an organization which serves people that have no access to books, their eyes light up and there is a smile a mile wide across their face, and that’s what I love!
